Would anybody happen to have an extra bracket that is used to attach the horn to the engine. My horn is currently mounted on left fender in engine bay and I need this bracket to convert it to stock location. Don't want to make one. My truck is a 1947 3100 with 235 engine. Is there such a thing as a salvage yard for AD pickups? Thanks!

Hello Buck, I moved your post to the swapmeet, as parts requests are not allowed in the discussion forums. Thanks.

Another quality post.

These brackets are now reproduced, eBay search 1937-52 Chevrolet horn bracket (they run about $25).

Take a look here. Pretty cheap if you don't mind a repop.

It seems you can't use the suggested horn bracket that attaches to the manifold if you have the by pass oil filter system which also attaches to the manifold...which I have. I think there was a factory bracket but it is different from these. I may be wrong...I often am!

That is the same set-up I run with the factory horn/bracket? Do you have a picture of your engine left side?

It should fit fine. This is a 1950 with 235.
If you can not find the bracket let me know. I have an AD junk yard about 15 miles from me. He might have one. ( of you want original)

The offset horn bracket is not being reproduced & they don't turn up very often.

I have a nice one....PM me for more info.
