I just picked up my “new to me” GMC. It is a 2004 Sierra HD 2500 LLY Duramax 4x4. It is a crew cab, long box, gold brown colour, bone stock, loaded (minus sun roof) with a DVD in the back seat for very long camping trips in the future with the kids. It has 150,000km (93,000mi), running boards, a Bluetooth phone/stereo with backup camera, black anodized aluminum toolbox, I’m the 2nd owner, and it was owned by an older fella in the city who kept it in very nice shape. Sure it has a small mark here and there (it is 16 years old after all) but I think I got a pretty good deal on this one. The CARFAX came out perfectly clean. I am very happy so far. I only wish it had command start...https://photos.app.goo.gl/NmpsWoCdM7jTmgQT8
The only thing I think I need to fix is the lower steering column bearing. It has that tiny clunk in the steering that I have seen in many of these trucks. My bro in law’s truck does it, my uncle’s did it, it seems very common of these work girls.
Any thoughts on that one Bolters?
