J Lucas, my close friends did a complete bearings up restoration on Willy Nelsons first new truck. It is a 71 and the only thing I did was polish it. Rasman57 really has something there, Don't we wish we would have taken care of some of our new trucks back then? Any vehicle I have ever sold was in mint condition. Wish I would have had a place to keep them back then but, what does a kid know. Willy's has the silver painted step bumper with the Dealers name impressed in from Lubbock, TX. Doc.

My truck had that same exact step bumper.
