Antenna for square body

I recently acquired a 1986 pickup truck. The antenna used to be in the windshield. Wondering what type of antenna to get and where to install or hide it. The truck is in excellent shape and I hate to drill holes in it. Open to ideas.

My ‘65 Biscayne had one under the front seat. Radio worked fine.

I mounted my Radio antenna to the truck frame running front to back on my 49. Don't know why you couldn't do the same with your 86. Works fine. The pic is down towards the bottom of my album.

That's the one. It's a small short whip antenna.

I have one of these in my 54. [amazon.com]. It is ok but not great because it is mounted under the dash. I have had it 12 years. It pulls in a local station and I play my sd player through the radio speakers.

Hey YOU b OLD, I had one like that and I couldn't get it to work very well so I opted for the short whip antenna. Been working good so far but we don't really play it that much.

If you are traveling it be a waste of time but I only play music from an sd card reader.Similar to this. [amazon.com]. I used to down to an SD card when I had windows but Youtube is not compatible with android. I have seen apps that say they will work but the people on there talk so fast that I can't follow them.
