Sure I grew up doting on fast Mopars. 340's, 440s, 6 Paks, Cross Rams, 2-4s anything Hemi was worthy of much lust. Fast forward a few decades and I've developed a sincere appreciation for the fast cars of the past and flatheads. Articles like this make me want to add another bay to the shop. [hotrod.com]

I like the old Fords and old school hotrods. No doubt a Model A roadster will be joining the family someday.

I can not mention my love for mid 30s Plymouths because this is a chevy truck site. wave

Man, you hit my sweet spot with this! My first six cars were 34 Ford FIVE window coupes. Had several 3W but used them for parts cars. I had to quit buying them when they got up to the prohibitive price of $50. Best one I had I paid $11 for. I swapped in a 303 Olds engine, LaSalle trans, Atlas 8.25 Bucron tires and candy stripe rolled and pleated interior. Sold it to the bankers kid in 1955 to pay college tuition. We have the molds for a glass 34 but it is a 3w and has a 2.5" chop which is not my cup of tea. If you get on Facebook (121 Rod & Reastoration) you can see the old fat guy firing off and running a fresh built flat head. Not coupes but a couple I did several years back; all steel.

Factory stock:

Rod with 402 Roush, TKO 600, 9", 4w power discs, bear claws, all the bells and whistles:
