Hello Everyone, Those of you that knew, I'm over it and doing fine. Thank YOU for your prayers and thoughts. See even us Stovebolter's can do anything as a group. Now the problem......I have a Shumacher sc 3100 that has given me excellent service for several years. However it went dead on me. It is a 6/12 volt 6 amp/3 amp charger. I believe I ruined it on my beautiful 98" TJ due to an ongoing problem with the steering wheel clock spring which causes my battery to discharge ETC. The Jeep does not matter but my 54' 3100 does, it has two deep charge 6 volt batteries in series. 1100 amps. Six volt generator more than keeps up. It sat for 6 weeks without starting so out of precaution like the stupedo I am I thought it best to put the Schumacher on for a few hours. It gave up the ghost. I'm ordering another charger, 6,12, 24(have a 10 T), military truck. What is the best to purchase. Anyone out there need anti bodies I'm here. Probably on the fringe of saying too much on The Electrical Shop. Dang. Bless all your hearts. Doc.

I don't really know. A neighbor says he really likes a DeWalt he has, but I don't know which model, etc.

I know it's a battery charger, but i'll be moving this to the tool shed for further discussion. Thanks.

Another quality post.
