I see alot of info on here about the Felpro 7782B gaskets for the 261 engine. What do you guys think about the Mahale brand gaskets? Are they comparable to the Fepro gaskets?

Fel-Pro has been around since at least the 1930's (used to be "Felt Products Co.") How long has the other bunch been making gaskets? I've never heard of them. Jerry

My bad spelled it wrong it's Mahle. I was looking at rock auto and they show that brand along with Felpro. Just curious.

Mahle is a big name in pistons, oil pumps, etc. for performance applications (as evidenced by stickers on NASCAR cars). They've been around since 1920, founded in Germany, and started out making pistons. I don't think you can go wrong with either Fel-Pro (who started out in 1918, and specializes in gaskets) or Mahle.
