I live near a university campus with acres of 3” high grass. Walked through campus the other day and saw the guy mowing. He’s sitting comfortably, headphones on, cup holder , moving right along. Looked like a happy camper. Perfect job for a quarantine.

John L. Have you looked at the Bad Boy mowers?
A friend of mine just bought one and it looks to be well built.

The commercials were very male oriented, so I did not look at them.
Kind of like having a Harley, the women would flock to you. And we know that isn't true.
Oh, he has a Harley and a Bad Boy now, but can't keep a woman.

It did look like a well built mower though.
Kubota's are really built well, but also come with a price.

It seems like TSC sells or used to sell Bad boys. Never did really look that close. I'll have to check them out.

Maybe this is not funny but I thought so. A man out on a rider in a 3-acre field wearing a mask. Maybe it was for another reason. But I have seen more than one like this.

I will wear a mask mowing sometimes. The pollen and dust messes with my sinuses.
As for out in public, no.

Part of my duties for the Guard unit I work at is to maintain the grounds. I cut about 10 acres all together, I use a 74" Scag zero turn commercial mower, it has a V twin Kawasaki. It's a beast, it gets used about like a bush hog... I was running over everything until I got used to it. grin

Using a tiller-bar ZTR does have a learning curve. My first couple of mows looked like they were done by the town drunk.
