1954 & 1955-first series Chevrolet trucks would be interchangeable (the same).
Task Force 1955-later would be different.Jim Carter seems to be the only vendor that that lists them clearly and correctly.

GMC Truck
!954 and 1955-st series GMC gauges were were different.

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.

I drove a 1967 Chevrolet school bus for a few years and had the same looking speedometer and gauge set up as the 1954 and 1955 1st series trucks. Still a few of those old buses left. Maybe they went even later.
