So I got the new water pump gasket in my '37 and it quit leaking so that's all good.
A bit of trivia. I am re-upholstering the seats and found a paper tag attached to
one of the springs. It says " Fort Pitt Bedding Co" and has a list of patent dates
starting in 1925 and going through at least 1937. After that it gets hard to read.
I wonder if they made the springs, did the upholstery or both?
Use that to stump your friends who think they know everything about these trucks.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

(That is also about the funniest and best reply I have seen in a long, long time. No offense to you burchmanor, but you got to admit that was good).

Fort Pitt Bedding company, like so many other auto related companies, made parts for weapons during WW11...........google is your friend, sometimes!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
