Carl,
Don’t feel too bad. Sanchez may have lost his job at the golf course, but he is now the head cook at the Mexican restaurant. Like you said, they needed to increase the authenticity of the atmosphere.

I must admit, that was well done and painted quite the picture.....just not one that I really wanted to see....
As someone that actually works at a cc, I actually have a true story in kind involving a member...….alas I will save that for the next ODSS event late night camp fire.....the member most certainly had weltzschmerz…..and Sanchez was doing the cooking....seriously.
But, we have wondered way off the topic again and I fear the ODSS lawman is about the drop the hammer....I blame Milliman

Happy Birthday, Chris ... and belated one to all your family who have had birthdays these past few days.

Much thanks to the Bolters who kept this thread in the spirit this website strives to adhere. Most of the posts were fun, engaging, family friendly and well, good stuff. Admirable qualities. Enjoyable moments shared. Makes me want to see you all soon.

However, I was ashamed at some of the posts, to the point of tears. That lasted for a few days even. I was glad to see Sweet get the thread back on track. I was thinking of editing some, but I was still hoping "better selves" would prevail.

I had hoped not too many people saw the thread ... but it had great potential, especially given the recent events and everyone going "virtual." If this was someone's first taste of Stovebolt, I cringed at the message. Then I realized, it was a few scoundrels ... I guess I was hoping that a person could learn to be better that they are. Even if it's just virtual.

Should we lock this thread and start over ... making it better, a fine thread inspiring positive creativity, encouraging others to look to the better side of life.

Think about it.

Well, lots of nice trucks at virtual homecoming and some good stories, just left with the emptiness that these times have brought us. Trucks are nice , but nothing compares to fellowship of good people.Grilling some steaks and drinking a cold one hoping to see everyone soon,Pat66
