I have seen on the news about people staging parades as birthday celebrations for kids, and also mentioned in newspaper articles.

If I had a running truck, I'd think about getting everyone I knew together and stage a drive around town. I think it would bring a smile to anyone seeing it. Since the streets are pretty bare of vehicles and walkers lately, a bit of advertisement would help get people out front of their houses to watch.

Just a suggestion for some of you guys with a good number of Bolters in your area. It would be an excuse to get out and about as well.

There is a rod run (parade) planned for tonight. All makes and models of collector cars and trucks are welcome.

The plan is to drive by the hospital and long term care homes and honk horns to show support for hospital workers who are working under a lot of stress.

Of course, social distance will be maintained. It seems like a good idea to get out for. (and gives a reason to leave the house and give the truck a run)
