So we woke up to a white covering this morning. I was hoping to do some cruising today but that will have to wait. Worse than that they were spreading salt yesterday. They are trying to kill our old vehicles!

We’ve got a big place near us that manufactures car detailing products. Lots of times there are Cars&Coffee type gatherings. Closed now for the duration.
Drove by the other day, and there were 3 old Land Rovers, parked about 10 feet from each other, the owners sitting on the hoods (I mean “bonnets”), coffee mugs in hand. Virus ain’t gonna stop their gettogether.

There's a few folks up here who are doing parking lot get togethers. The wife and I are suggesting to a couple we're friends with to do that. Get some take-out and sit on the back bumper of the SUVs, maintaining our "social distance".

My wife met one of her friends for lunch this noon in a parking lot. She backed into her stall, the friend pulled in forward next to her so their driver's doors lined up. They both stayed in their vehicles and visited and ate their lunches.

That's a way to get-er-done. One of our local car clubs is getting guys and gals together this Saturday to take a short trip. It will just be out about 25 miles and back. No stopping or getting out. Since there may not be many cruise-in's this year if any at all this is a way to get out of the house while practicing social distancing and let the ole cars and trucks breath a little.

Our small town had a main drag cruise night last Friday. Since Ms Kathy is ultra high risk and I’m high risk we didn’t go. Facebook video showed a lot of new cars and a lot of ignorant people not practicing social distancing. Supposed to do it again tonight but weather is not good. We’ll stay home.

Yeah....that's the problem we have as people still don't get it. My wife and I are high risk as well. It'll be some time before I'm ready to get out in the public the way it use to be. My wife and I get out when we can in our 49 and take a cruise but we don't get out. Well.....I did get out last night to take a pic when we went for a drive but nobody was around. Can't seem to post a pic to this thread. Have to link it ???

Yes, only linked photos in the Greasy Spoon. For obvious reasons.
