Stay at Home and Old Truck Cruising

I read from time to time of jurisdictions that have stay at home orders. Here in Ontario we are encouraged to stay home, but gathering in groups is against the law. As far as I know I can cruise in my old truck to my heart's content. I really would like to burn up some gas at the new lower prices! Do the stay at home orders make it unlawful to go cruising?

Not for Indiana residents. I believe ours are instructions are only suggestions. I just got back from the store for groceries. The first I have been out since last Wednesday. I almost wish I had a dog to walk because I am a sedentary person by nature. My weight has stayed mostly level, up one day and back down the next. I read where one church members were fined $500.00 for holding virtual church services in their cars.

Go for it, Fred. Gas will never be this cheap again.

Leo, I plan to cruise each day that we have good weather. I need to take a photo of the price on the gas pumps so I can look at it years from now! I have started the season already!

My wife and I get out and cruise here in southern Indiana when the weather is nice. I think here it is basically no social gathering and pretty much everything is shut down.

My wife has to go into work once a week to check the mail so it looks like it's a weekly thing now (weather permitting) to make the run to her work place. About a 20 mile trip each way. Today is the day and there is no threat of rain so we'll be heading out shortly.
