Watching the video, WOW the years haven't been kind to him. He would have been 71 when that video was made and he looks 85.

I understand what you are saying, Tiny. The years haven’t been good to me and I lack musical talent to boot. To make matters worse, I’m not sure if anyone would want me if I was chopped up and passed around.

A favorite of mine since around 1972... I hope he proved his daddy wrong and is now having that cocktail; "vodka and ginger ale" and smoking a cigarette thats "nine miles long". Thanks for the songs, memories and souveniers over the years John.

There's a YouTube or two of him being interviewed. First performance he ever did on a stage was at an open mike night. He commented on some bad singing. Somebody said: If you can do better go on up. So he did. He sang Sam Stone. People were crying.
