Hi guys, well it’s been quite a while since I’ve been here. Life got in the way and had to take care of some things. Looks like I’ll be back working on my bolt a bit more. I’m excited. I did finally get my 22.5” wheels and low pro tires on my bus. I’m really lovin the look and feeling more motivation to do more. I think getting the front axle spindles swapped for disc brakes is next. Anyway here are pics of my progress.

I envy your wheels, are they original bolt pattern?

There are several places that make them, but I got mine from a guy in Humble, TX. His name is Ernesto Perez and his business is E.T Machinery. Here is his Facebook page.

The wheels are aluminum and the adapters are all steel. Very heavy duty. Here are the pics of the adapters not installed.

And the wheels are 22.5" Alcoa Aluminum semi wheels. They have been machined where the tire bead sits to 22" to accommodate a 22" tire. My tire size is 285/45/22. Here's a picture of the wheels machined.

And a close up of the tire on the wheel.

Just keep in mind that you have to use aluminum wheels if you want to machine them down for 22” tires. Steel wheels don’t have enough material to allow you to do that. You can also buy 22” wheels that can be drilled to your bolt pattern as well.
