It hit 62 degrees in Omaha today and was great to be outside. Started up both the '59 Apache and the Viking for the first time in many months. I even started tinkering with the mowers. My old Cub garden tractor that conked out last year is still not yet running but tomorrow is supposed to almost as nice so I'm optimistic that I'll get it figured out.

Spring is almost here. nanner

Finally had a chance to get back at it and I"m happy to report that the old Cub Cadet is up and running. Combination of a bad ignition switch and an internally broken wire to the solenoid. I had been experiencing intermittent electrical gremlins for years, but it always eventually started. Anyway, it's fixed and...

It wasn't the carburetor. smile
