I live in Michigan and I'm scheduled for an airplane flight from Detroit to Denver the end of the month. My wife is concerned because of the covid19 scare. I do have heart/lung problems and in my 70's. I miss my daughter and her family. My thoughts are to go. What say you folks? A lot of crowd/school/etc. gatherings are being cancelled in my area.

Do It and take your wife!
Or Drive it and take your wife!
Slow ride across the Midwest with a lot of sightseeing stops.
Small car with all the comforts and a hotel with breakfast every day.

Don't let the virus panic stop what you want to do.
Just my opinion.

My doctors advice was "don't come to the office if your sick". Any suggestions?

Following your Dr's advise is spot on. If you do fly, assume everything you touch in public places is contaminated and act accordingly.
