Red dot, center of chest ...
We're discussing updating the Stovebolt Forum Users Manual: https://www.stovebolt.com/forum/manual/

We'd like those of you have had occasion to use it to provide us with your input; the good, the bad, and the ugly. That will help us with the redesign. So, if you've ever used the manual, either to help yourself understand something or to help someone else, please post in this thread. What worked? What didn't? What was missing?

Looking forward to input. Especially new folks and any moderators (and people who notice such things) who have some ideas to share.

headscratch

We have several things we've noticed that may go together in the New and Improved Manual. Hopefully, we'll get some input ... just added it to the "forum corner."

Thanks everyone,

Peggy M

The link doesn't work in the middle of the page.

Probably DADS50 knows where it is?
I don't remember seeing it but DADS50 has done some good stuff.

Unfortunately that link is busted

It went away a few years ago when PICASA went under and migrated to google
Most of the links in my early post are busted because of this.

The video is outdated anyway due to the stovebolt software upgrade and now being able to attach a few photos to a post. That wasn't the case back when the video was made.

I believe the video showed examples of PICASA or Photobucket photos being linked ....both outdated

So yeah, to clean up that page that link can be removed

Well, I'll be! This seems to be the nature of things. Nuts.
I notice that doing on to the YouTube site, they want you to "subscribe" ... I wonder if the days of free videos is coming to a close. You'll have to have a pass to get in. It seems that some of the videos we like are shortened, requiring you to get back "in" and sifting thru a pile of ads.
What's it all coming to?
Even our Bolt Bucket (Photobucket) has changed. We deleted all our personal albums. All those pop ups were driving me crazy.

That whole column will end up going with the re-do. It's easy on some pages. I'm not sure why it doesn't work now. I just jump to the top of the page for now.
Sorry for all this stuck-ness! eeeek
