49 3100 with 216. Looking for recommendations on precut wire sets that are cut to the proper lengths and aren't the ones that are way too long and make the engine bay look like a nest of wires. Kits I looked at don't break down the wire lengths.

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler. [chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com]

I know what you mean Ed, the 5th and 6th wires always seem to be 3 or 4 inches to long. They work but don’t look right.

Ive bought 2 sets of 2612, the 2612 is a cheap set , carquest or standard brand
Used the 6 best of the two sets. They are black at least.

The best fitting set was a orange set of wires that were on the truck when I got it back. But I don't know what they are as I didn't by them and wanted black.

This is for the pre cut sets, not the “original” type cut to fit

Master Gabster
Jim Carter has some fully assembled plug wires with the 90 degree bend, bare metal ends for the spark plugs.
