Working on seat cushion springs found the first two on drivers side broken. These are the ones that run front to back like a Z that lock into the seat pan If anyone has the first two ,and want to part with them ,let me know. Or a place where I can buy a few. I need to save this old seat.

Are the first two springs different than the ones in the middle section of the seat? Mic the spring wire diameter...I may have parts...need to look. That spring is famous for having the foot broken off...

Do you also need the straight piece shown next to the Z spring?

The first spring is different than the rest,by the way it mounts. I stopped by a couple of upholstery shops looking for parts, did not find any.
But was told any spring in the seat could be used, just the mount in seat pan needed to be moved a little. Yes need both parts, spring and stiffener.
As you said the front foot has broken off the first two, also broke at third coil where spring would sit.
The spring wire is 0.175 to 0.180

Sack, did you get what you needed? If not I'll dig around and see what I have...
