Hy Rusty Gold, welcome, I just typed "vintage Chevrolet truck parts in Canada" in my internet search engine and I got many hits from different areas of the country. To explain to everyone what you are working with, your truck left the factory as a cab and chassis with a 161 inch wheelbase and a GVW of 11,00 pounds, it would have been considered a one and a half ton truck. If your engine is original it was the first year for a full precision bearinged Chevrolet 235 in Canada. Good luck with your truck.

Thanks for the information, from the digging around for information lately I have found it has come with the optional 14,000 pound GVW, is there a website to decode the canadian vin tags and find the proper paint codes and such?

Just one tiny spot in the corner of the passenger floor and the passenger cab corner is shot, it has a few whiskey dents but I was pretty amazed when I found it being an alberta truck I figured it'd be rusted right out to nothing

That is a very nice truck. I'm digging the Motorola Radio box, above the clutch, and brake pedals. What's the dash look like ?

Kinda hard to tell from the pictures but it's a 100% original no missing pieces at all, AM Radio and Power Take Off aswell, seat is still intact but cracks everytime you sit on it and originginal door cards, still the original glass from 1953 with no yellowing between the panes

Yeah, that is cool but the old factory assembly crayon marks are just as cool to me.
