Searching for 1 missing part on deluxe heater install on 57 3100

I am renewing a deluxe heater for install on my 57 3100 build. Thought I had all the parts but am missing 1 simple part.
The truck left the factory with no heater at all, which was apparently OK in southern California where it spent its early life. Not good in central Wyoming!!
Where my deluxe heater will connect to passenger side kick panel, on the org truck there is a square metal blank cover plate, just forward of the outside air vent grille.
My newly refurbished heater connects to outside air at that opening with a 'fresh air vent flange' and that is the part I am searching for.
Perhaps it could be fabricated but thought I would try & secure an original part.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!!

There is a guy on eBay that restores deluxe heaters, Email him and he might sell you one.
That's how I scored some missing parts for mine. Also the piece you are looking for!

Is that like the tool you can't find, go buy another one, and after returning with the new one, find the old one? wink

Good you found what you needed. This is funny . I have sold ( well kind of ) parts that a buyer was able to identify at the pile of parts in the shop or at the body shop. They then returned for a refund . I never used to borrow parts until that Al Gore guy invented the intranet . Hah . Now it is quite common.
