Hello, I recently joined after buying a partially restored 51 3100 from my cousin. It was the truck my uncle drove for many years on our farm near Maryville TN. I just had an overhaul done on the 216 Thriftmaster that has 120,000 miles on it and it showed. Leaked from every seal and gasket and the four middle cylinders were just along for the ride. Miraculously, it still ran in that condition. Looking forward to sharing info with everyone on this forum. A few things I'm noticing working on this old girl: you get greasy working even 10 feet away from it, rust never sleeps, and make sure you've got lots of money hanging around you don't need for something else.
Welcome to the “Bolt”. I too bought a truck this year and the help and advice I have gotten here has been fabulous. All you got to do is ask and these guys and gals will steer you in the right direction.
Good looking truck you got there!
