I am all about ... awareness theretofore, but I cannot bring myself to wear pink for any cause or occasion. I would gladly donate money to said cause in lieu of having to wear a pink shirt, however.

Hey look! It's a ...
Well, as you don't exactly have a line up of people scrambling to do the shirt design, I'll do it. I'll even make it complementary with the dash plaque (if the Dash Plaque Guru wants) Got a deadline?

And *if* a Stovebolt.com event is going to endorse a particular fund raising activity, the Stovebolt.com owners will be the ones who decide which one that is.

There is more (a LOT more) to this event than beer drinking, so how about we focus on that, OK? Yes, the idea is to have a good time, and we always do. But we may have a lot of 1st timers coming who may want to bring family members. Yes, we consume a beer or two, but its not the focus of the event. If this ceases to be a family friendly event, then I think we should stop doing it.

I had more to say about the whole point of HC but I'll put it in a seperate thread.

Jim -- Love you like a brother you truly are to me, but the group pictures look great in high rez but they will look like crap when reduced to a 4-color (or B&W) for t-shirt silk screening.

Thanks,
John

Just talked to Allen at A&S printing that will do our shirts. They are just up the road from the Mullen's.
He will be sending me a price list and wants the order in at least two weeks in advance.
That is for all the same color pocket shirts, big one color design on the back and a small design on the pocket.
I'll do the coordination to get it done, but we need to decide the color of the shirt and John is going to do the design.
A new thread will be started for taking orders once a shirt color is decided.
If we order 24 or more, the price really drops a lot!

So give us your thoughts or you may get a pink shirt.
Don

Don ...

I sense that we are not getting a whole lot of enthusiasm for a shirt this year ... I *am* woriking on a generic Stovebolt.com shirt, though ... might that suffice? And in true ODSS fashion, we could use Sharpies to make it an ODSS event shirt ...

FWIW I would be happy with some new SB gear. All my previously purchased shirts were worn until my wife wouldn't let me off the property with them on. Then, they sadly became shop rags.

I could support the SB shirt idea too. The color isn't an issue, but I don't need a pocket. Just saying..........

COLOR..... not sure about most of you but I wear my SB shirts a lot of place and this includes the SHOP.. I'd like to see moderate to dark color to help hide some of the grease. Have not fear though, no matter how dark you can still see the grease!
So, for me personally, no light orange, yellow, red ect. Go medium to dark.....and a dark shirt with a one color graphic will stand out nicely.
What say the masses.....

Since the printer shouldn't care what color the T-shirt is I see no reason we couldn't have two different colors using the same color "outline". He simply slips a T-shirt on the machine, the machine don't care what color. And, perhaps he has a color we would like that he is overstocked on and we could even get a better price!! I'll take one each!!

( I better be quiet. My 38 years in textile printing is wanting to kick in here)
