While perusing a Studebaker restoration site, I came across a manufacturer of 16 gauge steel bed floors that seem close to the GMC 41-46 steel bed floors. I did a search on EBay and saw that the manufacturer requires a length and width measurement and they will cut to your specifications. Will try posting that link.

Jim Carter no longer sells this replacement item. For those restoring these pre-war GMC’s the GMC steel bed floor requires patience and some luck to find one in good shape or not malformed. Hey, it’s not too late to ask Santa for one. It would make a good stocking stuffer.

I was going to put an 8' bed on my 41 from a 65 Jeep J20. The metal floor was just fine and it has the same looking panels for the era, but the all the panels needed too much work for me. I know you can buy them, but I'm a cheap a**. Finally decided to with a 59 8' bed. Not the same look but that really doesn't matter that much to me. My truck has front and rear axles from TF anyway.
Good luck!
