Steering wheel color

I brought my 53 steering wheel and an eastwood resto kit with me to Florida this winter, so I'd have something to do. In searching for the proper color to put on it, all I can find listed is a Dupont #8540. I'm hoping that someone on here can give me the PPG match for that. If not, what paint can I put on it when finished, that I'll be able to cover with PPG urethane enamel when I get home in the spring.
Thanks

I have a 47-53 steering wheel which has 95% of the original paint on it and it appears to have been kept inside for most if not all of its life.
I have another which I have restored and painted with Rustoleum 7744 Anodized Bronze in a rattle can. The color does not appear "anodized", nor "bronze" in color.
It is however, a spitting image of, in color and finish, of the original steering wheel color. I challenge anyone to tell me which one is the original and which is the restored one. It is that close.
Carl
