I took at trip today to look at a couple old trucks for sale. I was able to pick up a "perfect" wiper header for my 46WP and check out the rest of his stash. I'll probably make him a deal on one or more of the 41 2 tons but he's not ready to sell either either of the 54 3600 4x4's or the 42 1 1/2 ton. We had a great visit for 2 hours and I told him I would work on him over the winter and see him again in the spring. He is in his mid 70's and I have a feeling he wont get around to them like hes thinking he will.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

That 1.5 ton with the long bed is very uncommon.

Ed, I could see it in the background of a pic of another truck he was selling and the main reason I drove 4 hours to check it out. Has a 9 1/2' bed. Got my fingers crossed

When I was growing up we had a '46 1 ton with a long box like that. Wish I still had it.
