Hi
I have a 1948 chevy stylemaster with 3 on the tree torque tube.
I recently purchased a 1955 235 engine with a manual trans and it has no torque tube.
would this trans be good to use if I swap the diff?
with the linkage swap so I can keep my stock column?

thanks

A lot less work to stick with the 48 transmission.
