This thread is specifically for Jon G for the benefit of all of us bolters. Back in September 2018 you wrote a thread on Straightening the Rochester B and BC castings #128069. Unfortunately, none of the links for pictures worked for me and I suspect they won’t work for other’s as well. Can you resurrect this article and add the pictures so they reside in the Stovebolt Forum (Attachment Manager) instead of links, so they are captured forever?

This article is definitely worth a place in the Tech Tips, so it won’t disappear and get buried.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the message. I can do that. I probably will have to work on it after Christmas, though. The image link problem is with Photobucket. Whether they are going out of business or not, I can't say but they definitely are running people away from using their service and acting very oddly, so I removed all my images while I could. I need to either move them to Google photo or just post them through using the Stovebolt resources. I had hoped they would stay around forever, but in the digital world "forever" could be only a few years.

See if you can see the images now. I stayed up and worked on this last night and I think they should be visible.

Jon, the word “share” has to appear somewhere in the link for us to see them. Thanks for your hard work.

Jon, the links don’t work for me. I just get a minus sign in the center of a new tab it opens.

Jon - I get the message to sign in to a Google account.

Jon.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air

Wait... now I get it. To understand carburetors your name has to be Jon.

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

Please try it again and if it doesn't work you might try chanting to your computer "I am Jon. Jon is my name. Not John but Jon. Really I am."
