I purposely turned on double-tap trying to cure another issue. Now it will not let me access settings to turn it off. How can I get it turned off? BTW it is android tracphone. And if not if I clear it to the factory will I lose the phone number and the minutes.

I fiddled with it all even until the battery was dead. I was ready to throw it across the room but did not. I also look at sites to find an answer but no good. This morning started again after I found a charger to fit it. I thought I had nothing to lose so I started pushing buttons. I held the icon then pushed different buttons like the volume up then the down. Then a notice came up did I want to cancel double-tap and of course I did so I did and it cleared up the issue. yahoo

I'd hit it with a hammer and go buy an apple I phone.

But I don't have your money, Rusty. I am a single income household. My phone does what my son's $800.00 and $160.00 a month iPhone for a whole lot less money.

I'm with you, Ron! I got my first (and current) smartphone in 2015. A $40 LG Fuel. It's irritatingly slow at times, and I've been threatening to replace it... but it's adequate, and I hate spending money on that sort of thing--got to save my money for my car & truck projects!
Hope you get it figured out!

We bought Samsung Galaxy J7 phone through StraightTalk and are quite happy with them. They are our first ventures into smartphones. There was a bit of a learning curve but we're both comfortable with them now. The phones were $100 each. The setup through StraightTalk was simple and fast. $35 a month each. I've tried to burn through my monthly data limit and haven't been able to do so yet. Unless you're doing nothing but watching movies and videos all day you don't need unlimited data on your phone. My son pays more than three time monthly what I do for "unlimited" and never gets his money's worth.
