Does anyone also have other makes of old cars and trucks? For awhile I really wanted a Model A Ford. Sometimes I still do. I have a friend who is about 10 years older than me. He is a Chrysler and DeSoto L-head 6 expert. Some years ago he had a killer 37 DeSoto Coupe. A real hill climb car. Yesterday I went with him to visit a friend who is 86. My friend said “he’s the Mopar 6 expert “. He has a beautiful 47 Plymouth P15 Coupe.
Really I love all old cars and trucks.

Don't mention Plymouth on this site. Ron will go nuts again wanting one.

But to answer your question, the wife and I have several other old trucks and cars.
My favorite has been the 54 Pontiac with the straight eight flathead in it.

Although this site is about old GM trucks. Most of us just like old iron, whatever brand it may be.

I have a 1934 Auburn sedan, a 1940 LaSalle sedan, a 37 Buick sedan, a 34 Chevy Master coupe, and just sold my 46 Ford coupe today. I like old cars and trucks! When young everything had to be a coupe or convertible but now am keeping the sedans and waving bye-bye to the coupes. Old person thing.

I have several other trucks--a couple other Bolts and Internationals (not running), plus another International and an F-350 which are running and drivable.

Rusty Rod has a 34-36 International C-1 pickup, a 38 Plymouth coupe (that Papa Rod built), a 2003 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo, and a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee (not exactly a classic, but I replaced most of the mechanical's on it).

Another quality post.

I have owned GM almost all my adult life. When I was younger I had a 47 Ford, a 35 Ford and a 49 Ford. I am not partial to GM but love anything old. I love old trucks especially.
