Did anyone see a change in Forum Style color (aka Skin/Theme) ?
Also Line Height spacing is wider, making reading a post or reply easier to read.

Yep. Seems brighter now, too.

Changed downunder though it was cause of the hot weather and smoke we are having bushfires everywhere

Yep
Not really a fan of the default look, but it's changable at the bottom of the page where there's a pulldown that says UBBT77 (on my screen anyway). I tried all of them and some are just downright unusable. A little darker border (but not the combinations available) would be to my liking. The default is just a bit too bright and not enough contrast. There is a "large print edition", but that's like looking thru a keyhole. Maybe if the default font was just a tiny bit larger it would help.
I guess I'm just too picky. ohwell

In about 2 weeks no one will remember the old style... I'm already getting used to it.

No difference at all for me. Maybe it's because I don't use the default skin.

To go back to the original look, go down to the bottom of the page and switch to Ubbthreads stock then it will go to the original orientation.

It took me a while to figure out that the choices of display styles/colors is selectable in the drop-down menu near the bottom-middle of the page.

Maybe we can finally get a "Like" button.

Yeah, I know, many will say "we don't need no stinkin' like button", lol, but once you get used to them, you sure do miss it on sites that don't have them. Great way for simple communication. Saves forum space too.

It jumped right out at me this morning, lol.

Did you check all the styles available in the drop-down list near bottom middle of the forums page?

If one is not newer and brighter enough, it proves that no matter how hard you try, you can't please all of us?

Try being a Disc jockey once,
You can't play music, that pleases all the people at the dance.

Most jukeboxes are setup to play the music in a random order, to please the most people at a time..
If it is close to bar time and you dump some money into the jukebox don't expect to hear all your selections before the bar closes.

My guess is that members who had formerly "selected" the default style, are the posters who are remarking about the change?

I did not notice any change, but, this thread has caused me to look at the selections/drop-down menu at the bottom of this page.

I now have chosen an old-man, make-it-more readable "large print edition" selection. This keeps me from "zooming in".

The other selections are a very nice assortment. (I might try the "goth" style next halloween).

Happy Thanksgiving
Tim tclederman

The default style is "ubbthreads stock" and the "line-height was increased.
My preference would be keep "ubbthreads stock" as a default and drop the line height one notch down.
I'm using a Firefox browser, to make it look right I zoom down to 90%.
W's look funny at a 100%.

I am so old, I am using the “large print edition”.

If anyone knows anything about styles, you can create your own or alter an existing one, and I will upload it for you.

You can change colors, font sizes and a lot more. You can also select a different existing style under Preferences.

This is the compleete default stylesheet. If you know and understand Cascading Style Sheets, you can alter this to whatever pleases you, give it a new name, and I will upload it for you.
