I am looking for a C40, C50, or C60 in the 1960 to 1972 year range.
Preference is '60-61, then '62 to '66.
Must haves: an L6 (292 is preferred), 4-speed w/ a 2-speed rear axle.
I prefer a 5-speed, but I haven't seen one hooked to an inline six, so I may be out of luck.
I would like it to be as stock as possible, in good running condition, and as rust free as possible.
It doesn't much matter what is on the back. Cab and chassis would be great.
I'm going to shorten the frame and put a body matching pickup bed on it.

My biggest problem is finding one near me. There seem to be plenty in the farm belt, but nothing down here in Florida.

Any ideas???

If you are interested in any around mid Missouri, I can go look at it for you.
I have a 1965 0ne ton GMC dually with the 292, 4 speed, new tires, but no split rear end.
$1500 and you pick it up.
Probably twice that if you want me to bring it to you.

PM me if you want more info.
Don

Thanks, but I, very much, want a C40 or larger with a 2-speed rear end. Otherwise, it sounds pretty good.
