Anybody got just the threaded collar for the rear of the U-joint ball that they are willing to sell? The one I got off eBay got a little dinged up in shipping.

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engine are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler.

Group # 5.576 Part # 595013 ..
I don't think there is part number for just the torque tube retainer cap, not sure?

Call http://nwtparts.com/ ask for John

You probably need a Seal Kit also.

"That threaded torque tube retainer cap is also suppose to have two O ring washers."

two metal washers (one on each side of the 0-ring)

That O-ring was a squared-edges rubber seal in the kits that I have received from reproduction parts vendors.
No leaks after many years.

Clean the torque-tube until shiny where that seat sets/seats on the torque-tube
Put a little grease on the mating surface/area.
If that area is not pitted, you might not get a leak there.

I have an extra nut and may have the metal washer that goes with it if you don’t get anything from NWT.
