I am starting a new project on a Series 1 - 1951 Chevy 3100 Truck.
Truck came with V8 engine, auto transmission, disc front brakes, power brake booster and tilt steering wheel.
Frame appears to be from a newer car but I have not gotten it up on a lift yet to check it out.
Looks like old barn board oak bed
Body is rough but it's all there.
First job is to check it out mechanically
Second body work
Third paint.
Then we will see where it goes from there.
Not looking to make it into a show car just a solid and reliable nice weather driver

Will be visiting forum regularly for advice.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
