Stovebolt is pleased to support the Salvation Army! We're doing fine but many around the World are not. Instead of making a contribution to us this holiday season, how about making your contribution to a great organization with a long history of helping people in need around the world?
I bought this motor and was told it was a 235. The motor has no casting numbers on the block, only the two captain bars above the starter. I know the captain bars are from 261 motors The only numbers are by the distributor, But I can't decode it
Captain's bars don't always mean you've got a 261. The only way to know for sure is to remove the cylinder head and measure the bore size. 235's have a 3 9/16" bore. 261's have a 3 3/4" bore. Both engines have the same stroke, 3 15/16". Jerry
The murder victim was drowned in a bathtub full of Rice Krispies and milk. The coroner blamed the crime on a cereal killer!
Cringe and wail in fear, Eloi- - - - -we Morlocks are on the hunt!
