For some reason the 2 sets of front bumper brackets I have for my 48 GMC 3/4 ton will not fit. I have 1 set that came from a 51 3/4 ton GMC and the set that came with the truck. The set that came with the truck are shorter on the frame mounts than the ones I have from the 51. Was there and early style bumper bracket that fits 47 and 48 only, or is there something I am simply not seeing.
