I did it myself. I used a piece of thin conveyor belting. Done it several times that way the hard part is getting the rivets countersunk..

google brake and clutch relining in your area. Big truck places. Here is Seattle there is a company called Brake and Clutch that does it.

you can get the brake friction material from McMaster Carr,
they have lots of options and widths to choose from, its usually standard widths like 2, 2.5, 3 inches etc.
they also sell the material suitable to rebuild your own service brake shoes if you feel like giving that a try too

Thanks guys, that is awesome. Never occurred to me to do it myself. I've got lots of old Ag power belts from running machinery and McMaster Carr on speed dial.
