Saw this searching 200 miles of Knoxville. Posted on Atlanta Craigslist. Seller calls it a 1954 3100.

First truck I have ever seen with 3 on the tree AND 4 on the floor! And the 4 speed is the non synchronized with reverse lockout that would only be seen in a 1947 Advance Design, if not from an earlier 37-46 truck.

No gas tank behind the seat so 47 or 48. 3-speed shifter on column so 48 only.

I'll place my bet with Frank : 1948
- column shifter
- no filler tube opening for fuel tank in cab

- floor shifter and transmission most like is a later enhancement
- cobbed-up radiator housing to allow that later 235/261 to fit

I'd bet there is not a 1954 truck part on it (in a 1954 truck location)?

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engine are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler.
