I need a core support and it looks like a new reproduction is my only option. Am concerned about quality and fit, has anyone bought one? If so from what supplier and how pleased where you with it?

well, you could stop into the swap meet "parts for sale" and "parts wanted" here in the swap meet section of the stovebolt page as well.

I used a repro core support. It fit fine. Some tweeting and prying but nothing I did not expect. I dont recall which vendor I used. I have also had good luck trolling ebay and CL for parts - if you are looking for the original.

Thanks for the reply, I will search for a used original but I suspect they all rust in the same spot as mine under the battery.
