It was the A pillar data plate that said 16,000 gvw, but yeah the manual specs say 2 ton for LCF. I would be interested if it was closer and cab corners??? And some other stuff. Fixing stuff is very costly these days. Take the bed and all the hydraulics off then how much? That extra door will not work for fixing the rusted out door as its for a conventional.

The 1-1/2 ton Viking 50 would have had a 14,000 gvw and it's series is "5D" (which is part of the serial number on the door post). Per your GVW plate your truck was born a 5100 (5A) with a 112-5/8" wheel base, so somewhere in it's life it was stretched...
