The auction expires on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. You have to get approved to bid on Auction Time, but it must not be too difficult or too high a bar; I was able to do it. If you're really interested in this truck and not just talk, here's the link: https://www.auctiontime.com/listings/trucks/auctions/online/163109221/1958-chevrolet-viking-50 Good luck!

That's actually a L50 Low Cab Forward (LCF), and not a Conventional cab C50. Nice truck.

The 50 Series is a 2-ton with a GVW of 19,500 pounds unless it's special ordered as a 1-1/2 ton (Model 5xxxS)...

It was the A pillar data plate that said 16,000 gvw, but yeah the manual specs say 2 ton for LCF. I would be interested if it was closer and cab corners??? And some other stuff.
Fixing stuff is very costly these days. Take the bed and all the hydraulics off then how much? That extra door will not work for fixing the rusted out door as its for a conventional.

The 1-1/2 ton Viking 50 would have had a 14,000 gvw and it's series is "5D" (which is part of the serial number on the door post). Per your GVW plate your truck was born a 5100 (5A) with a 112-5/8" wheel base, so somewhere in it's life it was stretched...

Yes, it was stretched. It looks like a very good job, to my eye. And yes again, that door is for a conventional. I'm including it to replace the broken glass, which it will fit.
