Anyone out there have the double cable bracket (throttle and choke) for a Carter YF 2100s?

These are devilish difficult to find. In the group of Rochester parts I offered for sale a month or two ago there is one of those 2 cable brackets for Rochester carbs. It might work or be able to be modified for the Carter, but I'm not interested in breaking the Rochester parts group up into parts. I'll see if I can bump that up to the top.

Jon,
Does a YF 966S use the same bracket or different than 2100s ? I am looking for that bracket too.

I have both a 2100S and a 966S and the brackets appear identical to me. In fact the carbs look pretty much identical. In this earlier thread Jon listed the internal differences. https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthread...ew/1/questions-on-carter-yf.html#UNREAD. In that same thread a list of what carbs were used on what years is posted. That list was produced by Carbking and has been widely reproduced in many threads. Unfortunately it is in error regarding the 966S which lists it as an autochoke model. It lists a 967S as manual choke. The 966S is the manual choke model. I tried to sell my 966S carb and the potential buyers used that list to tell me I didn't have a correct carb.

As far as I know the 966s and 2100s used the same bracket. I'm also pretty certain you could adapt the Rochester bracket to work. I'm traveling now but will be happy to check that when I return.

I've used the Rochester bracket on both the 966s and 2100s. It works fine.

Chuck - I checked and double checked the information when I made the list. And I should have triple checked wink

The corrected list is available on my website at: Chevrolet YF carburetors

I apologize for any problems the mistake may have caused.
