6v airhorn?

When i got my truck it had a 6v aftermarket horn under the hood.
Probably made for a motorcycle from the sound of if.
I'm looking for something much louder for my 6v 1950 3100.

Preferably loud enough to make children scream, old women cry, and people wearing suits roll their eyes and shake their heads.

Anyone have anything like this or have any suggestions?

OK neighbor found such a horn(s) at a truck stop or big rig supplier, serious volume. Not sure if it uses air tank or 12 volt???
Best of luck

A air horn set from a big truck (18 wheeler) is what you’re after. The required 6 volt compressor is the challenge. If eBay doesn’t come through, I’d search out old wrecking yards and look @ old road tractors or log trucks from the 40’s/50s. Hey never said it would be easy.

I found a set pulled off a a 1940s wrecker on ebay $40 with shipping. i pulled them apart, cleaned up the contacts and brushed out the rust and BOOM big boy horns

The best bit was i didn't have a bracket so i pulled the forge and anvil out and made some using a couple old box wrenches.

Nice Brackets! thumbs_up

Curious about the box made of diamond plate on your firewall. What's that for?
