Looking at that eBay air cleaner, you can see that it's just a cover that goes over a standard air cleaner like the one the OP has now. I suppose you could use almost anything you like as a cover.

Many thanks for all of the suggestions and feedback! I think I'm going with the belltop cover. It looks much more like something from the fifties. @tclederman and J Lucas - yep, I can see it painted black to match my truck and I think I'll add a period correct AC Delco air cleaner decal, too. Thanks again, everyone! I'll post some pics once it's all done up nice.
