Free, just making space and i have no need for it.Enclosed drive shaft . Engine turns over but never tried to fire it. Engine and trans are sitting on a pallet. The rear is still under the frame but can be liberated very easily. Tire and wheels go with the rear, looks like there may be 2 that are new-ish.

Hello JT.

I have a '36 Chevy pickup that I've owned since 1965. I wonder if you'd be willing to part with the carburetor and air cleaner off that '36? Do you know if the carburetor has a tag on it identifying it?

Thank you JT. My email is raywaldbaum@gmail.com

I would like to get rid of the whole engine if possible. I will pull the carb and air cleaner and send it your way if it ends up headed to the scrap yard. Not sure if it has any tags, it is all wrapped up in plastic right now since it is sitting outside. I figure I have a couple weeks before my better half says something about my "junk" laying around and i'm forced to make a trip to the metal yard.

I understand. Please keep me in mind if nobody takes the complete engine off your hands.

I understand that also. My better 1/2 doesn't mind my "junk" collection either as long as she can't see it. If I set something small and clean down on the kitchen counter I find it moved to my shop the next morning.

By the way Jason, does that '36 high cab have a fan shroud? I looked for one for my '36 high cab PU for decades before finally getting lucky. It must have been a really rare option. I could send you a photo of it installed if you like. It's an odd 2-piece design but it does seem to work well. I found out about it from a service bulletin from 1936.

No fan shroud, just a fan and a radiator.
