Just joined today, bought this 1942 from my local Fire Company. Was in a shed for 25 years. I've been bringing it back to life all summer. Got it running, hoping for the first drive in a few days.

I'll be searching the threads for tire help.. Truck has 7.5x20 and looking if I can go with 9.00x20 on the rear

Looks like a great start for a project! It is always cool to have something with local history that people remember.

Good luck.

First of all, welcome to this wonderful site! You can get any piece of information simply by typing a question.
Secondly, post you question in the big bolts section. You will get more looks there. Grigg, or anyone else will help you out!
Good luck on your endeavors!
Looks nice!

Welcome to the 'bolt. Amazing truck! There are a few other fire truck owners here too, you can probably find them in the big truck forum!

Another quality post.

Welcome to the Bolt!
Great looking truck! As mentioned, check out the Big Bolt forum. There's also a sub forum there for fire trucks.

Don't tell the rest of the gang about the Fire Truck addiction!
We don't want to get them hooked and run the prices up!

You also may consider stopping by the Winchester truck show.
Read about it here.
Mike B has a real nice one!
