Hello - I am an old newbie.... I have lusted for an older chevrolet for many years.... and bid on a few only to loose.
I have seen many 'projects' out there... usually cut up and unfinished.
I found a a 1953 - 1300 (Canadian numbers for 3100 (I Think) barn find... a running but not stopping little truck untouched.

I am just string the process of going through it... and loving every minute.

I am looking forward to combing through all of the knowledge on this forum!! ... like how to take off the door handles and window cranks... smile

Support those brave men/women who stand the "Thin Blue Line" and lock up those on the wrong side of that line.

Welcome to the Stovebolt from Alberta. My 50 1ton barn find Canadian built came from the southern Wayburn area like yours, check out the tech tips section for repair tips.
You’ll have to post a picture of your truck.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
