My nephew told me there is a man that is going to bring a 56 Studebaker Golden Hawk that we done to the shop after hours and to let him park inside. Says it's red and has side swipe like damage on one side. I CANNOT REMEMBER THE CAR!! AD's, TF's, Mustangs, Camaro/Trans Ams, or any other belly button ones we've done lack of recall would be understandable but it's a GOLDEN HAWK. I may have one foot in the door of a head clinic and I'm only 82.

It's strange, I remember in detail a 57 GH we did but it probably is because we made built from scratch headers for it (just try to find headers for a 57 Stude). This was before the present day header kits so I used defroster ducts filled with spray foam to maintain shape. Worked well. Can't find any finished pics but here are a couple of in progress ones.

I hate it when I walk into the bathroom and forget why I went in there.
When I sit back down at the desk, I suddenly remember.

That's one place I usually remember why I went in there!

TMI I know Rich but I remember why I started that direction but I forget the urgency so I pick up clean laundry to put away when I go that direction. A friend of mine had a 1953 Studebaker that he and his son fixed up but got rid of it years ago. It was a rare 2 dr. coupe.

Just got back from a trip out to California and then up to Oregon to visit my sis who is in a nursing home ,she will be 90 in a few days and has dementia ..

On my second visit a day or so after the first she says to me when I met her at the Bingo game ..It seems like you were here just recently .. I do not know how to take that ,, does she say it that way to cover up for not remembering or did she really know it was just a day or so that I came to visit her?

Really doesnt matter as we had another good visit about almost all the same things we talked about a few days ago .. same ol deer came right up to her window just like it did couple days ago..

I am happy she doesnt have the mean type of dememtia .. she did win a Quarter for winning at Bingo black out..

Directions are just another mans Opinion

So two old friends were playing cards when one looked up at the other and asked "What was your name again?".
The other looked a little confused and answered "How soon do you need to know?

My mother had dementia at age 90 and was in a nursing home. I took care of her but when I had to put her in the home she refused to look at me when I went to visit. If I moved away and gave her some space she would turn and look at me. It is a sad condition.
