Wondering if anyone knows the weight of a gutted sub body? Looking at 2200 lb. cap. rotisserie and want to be sure it can handle it or get a 3000 lb cap. one. thanks

What year?

Presumably, you want an estimate of the weight of the "cab portion" of the "body"

No front/rear fenders, and no hood, and no doors?

General dimensions/weights for your 1965 Suburban are show on page 7.

About 4300 lbs curb weight with fuel.

~ 450 lbs engine (230 ci)
- rest of drive-train
- chassis-frame/wheels/tires
- seats
- doors & windows

My uneducated guess would be that the stripped-down Suburban cab wight would be less than 2000 lbs.

Wait to hear from other members.
